How to change fram size on HBA card

Hello,

How can I change maxframe_size on HBA card on the fly without reboot? I need to change it ot 2048bytes.

When I want to check my currenct settings I can see this:

maxframe_size = "0 bytes"

It`s some default value?
HBA is Brocade-804

Thanks

You don't change it without a reboot. You modify the .conf file and put the value you'd like in there, and reboot your system. Since you've not provided any details about your Linux system, your best source of information would be to call your SAN provider/Brocade support, since you've purchased their devices. Brocade will be glad to help you. Brocade provides the bcu command specifically to modify the .conf file.
