hi I'm using redhat 9 and my sound card audigy 2 not found by OS
and i look tihs page and download the emu10k1-v0.20a.i try to install driver but it says see readme and i look readme file and look installation part but not install i don't create *.o file i have three questions first how can i compile from kernel and how can i install this driver i found soundcard detection and click this button then it says vendor:creative labs , model:sb audigy module:disabled how can i enabled and the volume control is not work

look at the alsa website and see if your card is supported
by alsa. you can probably find rpm's for your distribution.
look around the alsa site for what you need to make your
card work.
