I'm having a bit of trouble with an rpm for my Nvidia MX 100/200 card. Storm Linux 2000 is set up to think my processor is an i386, ( It couldn't be further from the truth. ) I actully have an i586 AMD 1400+. I'm not sure if that is the confilct. I'm using the command:
rpm -i /windows/c/linuxdrivers/NVIDIA_GLX-1.0-4496.src.rpm
I get the error "Unable to open file" , and sometimes "File not found"
Can somebody give me the correct way to install this?
Another thing I think may be interfrering is I'm downloading it from a windows machine scince my linux unit doesn't have a modem driver. Could that make the file curroupt?
I don't know, please help before I end up throwing this machine in the dishwasher.
- Thank you
