Harddisk mount problem

Hi

I've a situation here, I've just installed Fedora Core 5 using a RAID1 Configuration with a nvidia nforce3 raid.
I can't mount the 2 first sata harddisk partitions (/dev/sda1 and /dev/sdb1). I've 6 harddisks standalone + 2(raid 1) sata harddisks.
The 6 first sata drives are /dev/sda, /dev/sdb, /dev/sdc, /dev/sdd, /dev/sde and /dev/sdf. The Raid ones are /dev/sdg and /dev/sdh
As a experiment I've swapped the harddisk drawers to check the harddisks and they can be mounted in any device file except /dev/sda and /dev/sdb.

Example:
# mount -t ext3 /dev/sda1 /export/disk1
mount: /dev/sda1 is not a valid block device
# mount -t ext3 /dev/sdb1 /export/disk2
mount: /dev/sdb1 is not a valid block device
# mount -t ext3 /dev/sdc1 /export/disk3 (no problems)
I've swapped harddisks phisically (sda with sdc) and it works perfectly...

Only /dev/sda and /dev/sdb with problems....

Any ideas? I'm running out of them Please

Thankx

try this as root and tell us what happens:

a) fdisk -l

b) hwinfo --disk

c) hwinfo --partition

all of your disk should show up
