Good Operating Systems For 380D Thinkpad With 8mb or 16mb of ram.


Any good ones besides DSL because I am having troube with it.

Actually, I just tried booting slackware, but it did not work. I am planning to use it for a few minimalist games and writing documents, it's actually for my friend, his grandpa gave it to him.

Slitaz or floppy based only would work in text.

I think you could get the qnx demo disk to work with a gui but any other disto is likely to fail for any sort of gui.

What I mean by DSL not working is that it just wont mount CD's or floppies. It works completely fine other than that.
