Having trouble installing a piece of hardware? Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

Question general video card information

Hi guys, I'm trying to figure out what video card to buy. I'm looking at ATI Radeon 9800 pro 256MB

http://www.ati.com/products/radeon98...pro/index.html

Does anyone use it? Do we have drivers for it in Linux? (I use Fedora 2.)

And if anyone knows... is it possible that my mainboard would limit the power of the video card? I mean, I have an 8X AGP slot, but maybe I should be looking at some other numbers too? I'm not entirly sure how I should go about buying a good video card. I want it to work under linux, but I want to play Everquest 2 as well!

Any info is deeply appreciated!
