frozen when loading mandrake 10.1

I have installed Mandrake 10.1 on my Asus laptop. Everytime I boot linux, it freezes for a minute more or less. then, it goes on loading. I think the problem comes from Intel Pro Wireless. But i don't know how to configure it neither how to disable. What do you recomend???

Lightbulb

i got mandrake 10.2 running on my laptop (emachines m5414) i have experienced no lag so far but to answer you questions
about configuring the hardware, i believe you have to go to system settings and configure hardware and then from there select hardware, then find hardware or something around those lines.

hope this helps?
