Lightbulb Flashing a BenQ DVD-Writer in Linux

Its this drive: BenQ DW1620 Pro
BenQ provides the bios-updates as a single windows-executables no way to do something in dos?

I didn't know so I just had to try it using cedega (its kind of the "wine" for playing games) - not recommend - but I suposed I could flash it back in windows if it didn't work. But it did work pretty well, only it finished earlier than the progress-bar of the flash-application and the bar began rerunning. So I waited a loop and after restarting the flash-app it detected the new bios-rev..

I don't wana encourage anybody to destroy their writer - but once you try it you can do it over again.

Though I did reboot before using the writer - so I would allways favor to flash in dos if benq provided a dos-flashutility and the bios.
