fgl_glxgears not working, but 3d accel fine?
Greetings. This isn't the biggest issue in the world, but it does bother me. I am running a Radeon 9800 Pro on Nforce2 board with SuSE 9.0. I know that 3D acceleration is working because fglrxinfo produces the ATI vendor string and direct rendering is Yes. Also all 3D accelerated games that I have work great (TuxRacer, RTCW etc. )
glxgears gives me 4000+ fps, here is the rub: fgl_glxgears outputs the couldn't find fbconfig error. Very queer indeed. Has anyone had this problem, and been able to fix it? I know that you gentoo guys have a nice "opengl-update ati" command but maybe it is me, maybe it is SuSE, this does not exist on my system.
Like I said, minor problem but annoying to say the least. Thanks in advance.
