fedora core 2 post installation


hi i have just installed fedora core 2 and the keyboard and mouse work for the installation. they also work in the bootloader (grub). but when it goes into the post installation configuring my keyboard and mouse don't work. can someone plz help me???

hardware info:
the keyboard is a Packard Bell (i think a logitech) Model no: 9201/RT7N20 connected to the computer via USB and the mouse is a logitech M-U69. the mouse is connected via USB to the keyboard which is connected via USB to the computer.

Sounds like your install isn't loading the USB modules, or if it is, it's not loading the correct ones.

how can i check if it is loading the usb modules or not?
