(FC3) ATI FGLRX Drivers work for months,FC3 update, stop working

I have hunted, grunted, looked, and shook. but nothing scares me more than my problem. For starters, I have Fedora Core 3, i consistantly update it, and the ATI FGLRX drivers have been working for months.

But now, i updated. The kernel, and a pile of other stuff i dont even keep track of anymore was updated. Perhaps with it xorg, but i am unsure. Well anyway, i went about my normal procedure to get fglrx working with the new kernel., I downlaod and install the kernel source rpm, download and install the latest fglrx, and reboot my computer. But this time it didnt work. XOrg loads Mesa drivers whenver the chosen 3d driver doesn't work. Well, this one didn't for some reason. So i revert to the older kernel. Still doesnt work. It doesnt work on the newer or older kernel. im good with computers anway, so i prowl around the config/log files to find nothing wrong in any files i can find. It SHOULD be working. i did evrything right. So then i pranced into my xorg.0.log file, and ive come out with this (It has some before and after the relevant part):

What could be going wrong here? As far as io can tell it should be working. There is problably one big, fat mistake on my part i never even noticed. I also tried to build custom modules by going into ATI's build directory in /lib/modules/fglrx and running sh make.sh and sh ../make_install.sh, which is what is directed of me, but their code didnt compile (what do you expect of ATI), and ive never done that before so it didnt strike me as neccecary. Your help would be greeatly appreciated.

Are you running a 2.6.10 kernel? Drivers version 8.8.25 didn't comple with 2.6.10 or later without a patch, but the newer ones work fine.

I have a solution, but time to wait.

I have discovered that its because ATI uses custom kernel modules to give the system DRI. i guess i should have known that, and there aren't any avaialabel for 2.6.14 (or somethign like that).
I have to wait for livna to make me some.
