eth2

Hi there! I am having a small problem and was hoping someone would be able to be able to offer some help.

I am trying to build a 2 zone router using Shorewall 2.2.0. I had a one zone router going, but I wish to break things up a little while also learning how to do things. When I added the third lan card, I couldn't get the computer to connect to the internet. I inserted several lines into Shorewall files and think they are correct. I really think it is because I am using the wrong driver. Here is why...

When I tried to copy the driver files off of the PCI Planex GN-1200TC cd and run make, I got errors. I am not certain if this is due to the copying or what. The device list doesn't have the actual adaptor in the choices and so I chose a RealTek gigabit card since this worked with eth1. Any ideas on how I can get the card working properly?

I am running RedHat 9 kernel 2.4 (which has been updated with the recent patches)

Sincerely,

Brian
