Epson Stylus Photo RX520 printing problems

Hello ,
I have an Epson stylus Photo RX520. I tried to install a driver for it on ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric Ocelot. I powered it on after booting ubuntu. A dialog popped up. It asked me to install a driver. There was no driver on that list for RX520 so i installed the RX510 driver. It works quite good but it has a big problem when i want to print images it blackens very much the image.

What should i do. Please help me.

consider installing the closed driver for the scanner.

in my debian sid there is no driver for rx520 but I don't have your hardware.
but I do use epson printer
