enabling "easybuttons" and integrated wireless card

I have a WinXP and RH9 dual boot set up on my laptop (Tangent Satelite, an ASUS OEM I believe) and it originally came installed with WinXP. There are 3 buttons located above the keyboard that work with Windows XP, one to launch my default web browser to my homepage, one to launch my email client, and the third to power up and activate my 802.11a/b wireless card that is integrated into my motherboard. After installing Linux I found out that these are of course soft buttons and have no default function under Linux. I was wondering if there is a way to enable these buttons under Redhat either by using some system tweak or special software installation. This is particularly important because of my wireless card, as it is integrated, I have no physical access to it to turn on its power, so I have no way to activate my wireless from Linux, does anyone have any input?
