Enabling DMA for DVD when system boots (SuSE 9.1)

What do I edit to get enable DMA for my DVD when my computers boots. Right now I am doing it manually each time I boot my computer and want to watch a DVD, I type in, "hdparm -d1 /dev/hdg," It works fine, "/dev/hdg:
setting using_dma to 1 (on)
using_dma = 1 (on)"
But I would like it to do it automatically.

hdparm normally has a "-k" option, for "keep" which normally sets some sort of flag in a config file somewhere.

It seems to have worked. I can't reboot yet to find out until I finish downloading a file. But I typed in, "hdparm -d1k1 /dev/hdg" and this is what I got, "/dev/hdg:
setting using_dma to 1 (on)
setting keep_settings to 1 (on)
using_dma = 1 (on)
keepsettings = 1 (on)
"

Thanks.

If anyone else is trying to do this remember to do it as root.
