Question CD/DVD doesn't work - no media found -FC3

guys pls. help !
a freshly installed FC3 on a SATA drive seen my DVD-RAM as /dev/sdb , but it is hang on the secondary master ATA (hdc). Anyway, I got the "no media found" message, when I try to mount it. There is no hdc, cdrom or dvd link in the dev folder, but sdb. I found in the anaconda system log : cdrom module not found. I am completely lost ... the burner has no problem at all with M$.
I was looking in the libs, but the cdrom driver module folder empty.
Everything else seems to be working fine, better yet : excellent.
