DVB USB TV receiver stick Linux compatibility.

I recently purchased an AVerMedia A835 digital TV receiver USB stick, only to be advised by AVerMedia that it's a Windows-only model.

Does anyone know which USB DVB sticks work well with Linux. I'm in Brisbane, Australia, currently using PCLinuxOS, but have several other distros on different partitions.

Have you looked through the HCL ?
Or visit the mythTV homepage.

Consider the silicon dust product if you can't find a good usb stick. It is well supported but is not as good as a TV tuner but better than any usb tuner I have tried for reception signal strength.

Couldn't find AVerMedia in the HCL (but thanks for the tip). The linuxtv.org site is a mine of info:

AVerMedia:
http://www.linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/AVerMedia
http://www.avermedia.com/avertv/Supp...&keyword=LINUX

All brands:

The Silicon Dust box looks great - not for me, but a friend is sold:
