DSL and Game Controllers

Hello,

My sister's old nintendo died. So as a Xmas gift I'm using an old Sony VIO PC (form abou t ten years ago) with about 64MB RAM and a 4GB Hard Drive. Damn Small Linux is the only OS other then Win98 that I can get to run on it. I'm running a Super Nintendo Emulator on it. The one that installs under 'MyDSL'.

Anyway, I decided last minute to buy a game controller for it. It's a Logitech Percision Plug and Play Gamepad I got for $9.99 at target. When the controller is pluged in and I use the 'lsusb' command it does show "Logitech, Inc." at one of the Buses. But, the emulater does not seem to detect it.

The controller works great on my Ubuntu Box.

Any Help would be great.

Thank

install the kernel source code from dsl. then go to /usr/src/linux and run make menuconfig. under drivers > input, there should be a section for usb game controllers

if you a * or m, then it has it enabled in the kernel, if not then you have to recompile the kernel yourself
