DL140 Serial Port iLO IPMI

Does anyone know if "remote access" (IPMI iLO support) has to be disabled if you want to use the serial port to connect to another machine via null modem cable?

DL140 has one serial port and remote access (iLO) is enabled by default on the port, I suspect you can use the port as a standard serial port when this is enabled?
