disk geometry errors under linux


hi

howto check and solve disk geometry errors under linux ?

Several options here.

One, you may be able to ignore the errors and continue as usual without any adverse effects...

Two, you could try going into your bios at start up and setting it to auto-recognize your hard drive. It may give you a more correct number for the geometry that you can use at that point.

Once you have/know your true geometry you could kill all the partitions and redo the whole disk.
