Direct Rendering nvidia geforce2

How do I enable direct rendering on a Nvidia Geforce2 (PCI 64MB) on Mandrake 10.0 (2.4.25)
glxgears gives about 200 fps, gl-117 gives 6 fps, glxinfo:
$ glxinfo |less
Xlib: extension "XFree86-DRI" missing on display ":0.0".
name of display: :0.0
display: :0 screen: 0
direct rendering: No
server glx vendor string: SGI
$ glxgears
Xlib: extension "XFree86-DRI" missing on display ":0.0".
1085 frames in 5.0 seconds = 217.000 FPS
980 frames in 5.0 seconds = 196.000 FPS
1100 frames in 5.0 seconds = 220.000 FPS
1060 frames in 5.0 seconds = 212.000 FPS

Thanks

You could start by installing the Nvidia drivers.
