I had bought this Dynex modem based on Intel536ep chipset because I was told it would work. SuSe detected it and installed a the driver 536ep0 and the driver was supposed to be in /dev but I could not find that file anywhere on my entire system.
I tried many many different things including installing several times but I could never get that driver file to show up.
