I took the laptop apart. I got a 40 GB HDD out of the deal that I can use either in my desktop or put it in an enclosure.

I used the heat sink from an old build, the keys on the keyboard, the circuit board and an old circuit board form a mouse I took apart and built a small Robot for fun-
