Dell Inspiron 8200 laptop display setup

Problem: Cannot configure new Dell Inspiron 8200 laptop display with RedHat Linux 7.2 or 7.3. Can someone suggest what to try? Dell indicates the display is a Toshiba 15 in. LCD. Native resolution is 1600x1200.

inspiron 8200

If you have the nvidia graphics chip, you need to get the nvidia drivers from the nvidia website.

I'm thinking about buying an inspiron 8200. how much time on the battery do you get from a charge??

Did you get the built in wireless? I think it's an orinoco chip, so it should work, but I'm wondering if it looks like a pcmcia card to the kernel, or otherwise how it's interfaced.

thanks.
