Im running Mandriva 2007.1 Currently, as it runs very well on my older hardware, Issue is I have No Audio! Yes my speakers are plugged in on and the sound is all the way up! I have audio in Windows, (mandriva is on a CS drive as to not cause fragging of windows) and no audio in Mandriva. I am running Audio right off my Mother board as its 5.1 surround built in. Any one have any ideas? Its Currently using the snd-Intel8x10 driver. Its a AC'97 Sound Controller built into the MOBO

You can install the alsamixer package, and try turning on and off the various components. That sound chip is famous in Linux for being misconfigured. Just play some sound, and turn things on and off in alsamixer, until you get sound.
