D-Link DUB-H7 7-Port USB Hub help


Hi, i am new to linux using Suse 10.1 . I am unable to get my usb hub to work (D-Link DUB-H7 7-Port USB Hub) and wondered if anyone could possibly help me with this problem. Here is a copy of the start up log.

too much info, and no usefull stuff.

unplug the hub and any devices on it. run "dmesg" and note the last things it returns. plug in the hub, wait a 10 seconds or so, then plug in a known working USB device (usb flash memory or something simple), then run dmesg again and post here any new lines returned. if you get no new lines from dmesg, make sure the usb hub has power, an external power supply is probably required if you plan on using all 7 ports.
