CS110 is wow working!!!!!

Good news every one!

I got my Intel Easy PC Camera (CS110) working on Red Hat 9.0 (kernel 2.4.20-8) last night!!!

Now I am wondering how I can use it on aMSN or Yahoo Messenger for Linux, or gAIM . Else it would be good if somehow GNOMEMeeting can transmit my video for these messengers.

Any one has any ideas????

Thankx in advance...

Gnomemeeting can work with MSN or Netmeeting in Win98 or WinME. The user on the other side have to use a codec (H.323) that gnomemeeting supports in order for it to work. You then have to worry about upload bandwidth. If you have another computer on your network, you can test it from Messager and Gnomemeeting.

I did a test several months ago from Windows 98 using Netmeeting and Gnomemeeting through my LAN. The test gave good results for a few minutes but the Windows system could not keep up (in simple terms Netmeeting crashed) even though its on a much faster computer (P4 2.0 GHz) while the computer that was using gnomemeetings was on a slow computer (Athlon 'Classic' 700 MHz). I haven't yet tested with Messager on Windows XP.

I do not know if GAIM, aMSN, Yahoo linux has a plugin for video conferencing.
