Computer Hardware: Memory and GFX

I Just recently installed Linux on my Dell laptop and realized horrible the graphics card is. I was looking at GeForce cards, but where to buy them at a decent price? And where cna I get them to bit a Laptop? What about memory upgrades, I'm not sure how much memory my laptop, but its probably only 64 or 128. Where could I get a 256mb memory upgrade for a laptop?

For a laptop? Yikes... best to just compare it against what's supported under in XFree 4.2.0 over at XFree86.org.
