Does any one know of a modem that is compatible with both Linux RedHat 7.2 and Windows 2000? (I have a dual boot machine) If you could point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated.

If its not a Winmodem (cheap modem that only works on Windows), then it should work on both. External modems are never Winmodems. Internal modems mostly are, but some arent, so check what youre buying.
