compatible hardware for linux


ok, im building my own computer right now, and i was debating to go with windows or linux and i decided linux, as i was buying hardware i noticed it would hvae compatible and never say linux on ANYTHING..im starting to wonder if all the hardware will work with linux, if not ill have to go to windows...like..seagate HD, geforce4 vid card...asus mobo...tkd dvd/cd RW ????

All the stuff that you mentioned will work fine with Linux.
