Coaxial to BNC adaptor

This isn't really linux related... though there will be some computers running linux on the network this question is about.

I need a Coaxial (or what ever you call the cables that Cable TV and Cable Internet use) to BNC adaptor. Could someone help?

More specific, I need a Cable cable to plug into a female BNC jack. I say a Cable cable because I think the connectors on Cable cables are famale...

If you don't want to be nice and do my searching for me! then could you tell me what the cables (and the fittings) on the Cable TV cables are actually called? I am not getting very good results when searching for a "coaxial to BNC adaptor".

Thanks!
