Change refresh rate :)


Slackware with KDE 3.4 and 2.6.11.6 kernel
How to change monitors refresh rate into 85hz?Monitor is LG Flatron 775FT..I know,that i need smth to write in my xorg.conf file

You should post the horizontal and vertical refresh specs for your monitor and also post the pertinent video sections of your xorg.conf file.

Also, your signature is a little beyond the allowable use of certain language elements here at LQ.

HorizSync 31.5 - 50.0
VertRefresh 40-90

Oh,i figured ir out by entering the HorizSync and VertRefresh from the www.lge.com site for my monitor

See, there's the problem. I looked up the specs for your monitor.

Horizontal Scanning Frequencies 30-70 KHz
Vertical Scanning Frequencies 50-160 Hz

Well, that's for the Plus, yours may be diffeerent. But, probably the numbers you posted aren't right for that monitor.
