ca0106 souncard not working CentoOS

Hello, having difficulty getting my soundcard to work after a reboot. I followed the instructions located here: http://www.alsa-project.org/main/ind...:Module-ca0106 to compile and install the alas driver for my Soundblaster SE Audigy. After this intial setup the soundcard worked just fine. After a reboot and ever since I can not get this thing to produce any sound. I've inserted the modules into the kernel using modprobe successfully. I've run alsamixer and to ensure none of the channels are muted. When I run an gnome session and attempt run an application that requires a soundcard (in this case logitech softqueeze) it says it cannot find a card installed. When I try to play a plain cd using helix I get the same error.

Please help this newbie with some direction. Thanks for listening.
