That line probably has nothing to do with the problem. Try booting without the "
quiet" and "
splash" kernel parameters. For most bootloaders, I think you can edit the kernel command line by pressing Tab twice.
For example, mine is:
Code:
root=UUID=[...] quiet splash amdgpu.dc=1 loglevel=3 rd.udev.log_priority=3 vt.global_cursor_default=0 rw sysrq_always_enabled=1 resume=UUID=[...] initrd=\amd-ucode.img initrd=\initramfs-linux.img
So I'd change it to:
Code:
root=UUID=[...] amdgpu.dc=1 loglevel=3 rd.udev.log_priority=3 vt.global_cursor_default=0 rw sysrq_always_enabled=1 resume=UUID=[...] initrd=\amd-ucode.img initrd=\initramfs-linux.img
That way, you should get a more detailed log and find what's actually happening.
Also, you can try booting with the fallback initramfs (you can select it by pressing Tab once).
