boot problems with dell server

hello all,
I am a student in a educational institution and i have recieved a dell poweredge 2100/200 server. To be honest i really hate dell, but i have to deal with it. Now my problem is that it can only boot from froppy or hard drive and there are no avaiable bios updates for this server. it is good on ram and resources. i just have this problem. is there any way i can create or download a linux bootdisk (floppy) and then install from cd's? IF you can help me it will be greatly appreciated..
