hi,
i just bought a wireless barcode scanner.
the usb bluetooth receiver is seen as:
Code:
usb 3-2: new low-speed USB device number 3 using xhci_hcd
usb 3-2: Device not responding to set address.
usb 3-2: New USB device found, idVendor=4242, idProduct=9188
usb 3-2: New USB device strings: Mfr=1, Product=2, SerialNumber=0
usb 3-2: Product: RF-BCS-2
usb 3-2: Manufacturer: USBRF.COM
usb 3-2: ep 0x81 - rounding interval to 64 microframes, ep desc says 120 microframes
input: USBRF.COM RF-BCS-2 as /devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:14.0/usb3/3-2/3-2:1.0/input/input13
hid-generic 0003:4242:9188.0003: input,hidraw2: USB HID v1.01 Keyboard [USBRF.COM RF-BCS-2] on usb-0000:00:14.0-2/input0
when i shoot at a barcode, the scanner properly beeps, but nothing get typed on the active text file...
First thought would be to check that your scanner and the receiver are correctly paired, like pretty much all wireless HID devices they are unlikely to be automatically paired "out the box".
