Having trouble installing a piece of hardware? Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

ATi dual head issue.

Well I have the fglrx driver installed and running absolutely great with my dual head setup on my 9800 pro in FC2.

It took a bit of work but I have big desktop working. Working... with one issue.

When I have a window open on my left screen and I move my mouse inside of it borders I can see a ghost of that pointer in the boxes on the right screen. Also I get a line of artifacting up my screen when the mouse moves into the dead space on the bottom portion of dead space. I am being forced to run my second monitor as a 1024x768 portion of a 1280x1024 desktop because of the setup I chose. The dead space to the right and bottom of the left screen is the result.

Has anyone ever seen these issues? Is there a solution?

Other pertinent info:

Gnome 2.6
Default SMP 2.6.5-1.358smp Kernel shipped with FC2.
Pentium 4 3.0C
This isn't a hardware issue. The same setup works fine in the same situation and resolutions in Windows.

I would post my XF86Config-4, but apparently I need to post three more times to do so.
