ATI 9200 Problem No core keyboard

Hello There:
I just Installed the ATI drivers on my machine running gentoo.
I set up the XF86Config-4 file and changed to xorg.conf
When I try to boot X I get the following error
(EE) No Input driver matching `Keyboard'
(II) XINPUT: Adding extended input device "Mouse1" (type: MOUSE)
(II) Mouse1: ps2EnableDataReporting: succeeded
No core keyboard

Fatal server error:
failed to initialize core devices

So I changed the driver from keyboard to kdb and tried both, but I got the same error on both ocations, any ideas??
Thanks!!
