Are P4's and Athalon XP's supported?

I am shopping for a speed demon and I can not find any info as to whether or not Linux supports the P4 or Athalon XP procs. If anyone knows anything I would appreciate the info!

I don't know much about this box, except how to tear it up real good. I knew that AMD referred to the XP's as having "quantispeed architecture" and I really did not know if this meant they were no longer in the x86 class. I have seen a pretty good deal at Tiger Direct for a Shuttle AK31 with an
XP 2000 for just $250. So now that I know the XP's are supported I think I will go ahead and get it.
