Anyone skilled in usb chip programmers?

Morning, I've bougth a ch341A "BLACK" usb programmer to program the asus a88xm-e bios. Unfortunately I read after bought that this programmer use 5v, and can burn the chip. So I'm searching now for the GREEN edition. The problem is..on ebay and other stores I found only black editions!
I found this one which is green, but don't report 3.3v but "1.8v adapter"
Is the same thing?

another question: someone know the serial or the exactly model of asus a88xm-e bios chip?
Searching on the net GD25Q64 as on reported here https://github.com/coreboot/coreboot...sus/a88xm-e.md I found only "solder" chips.

Good news is, the bios chip for a a88xm-e is available on ebay.

Use the clamp/peg for soldered in chips.

I don't know how chips are marked, but it be the MB model. a88xm-e (a88xm-e-usb3 is listed too as a separate bios)

At about the same time your MB was made I was soldering asus-a7v voltage hacks.

is there any decals on the mobo that give you a hint at the voltage?

Definitely, without a spare chip don't over volt it. It might work, but there's a risk of the smoke coming out and the sand won't work anymore. ;-)
