agp or 1500 dollar fish tank

Greetings Smart Masses,

Please forgive my ignorance. If a distro lists a particular graphics card then shouldn't it also have the driver? Does SuSE recognize Agp graphics cards? They're listed. Do I have to create a file to load the driver into or just name one? Did agents Moller and Skully ever find the truth?

More questions to come
Please help, please

Linux works fine with AGP graphics cards and should auto detect what kind they are. No Mullder and Scully are still looking for the truth (there are rumours of a new movie coming soon).

You know, you came so close to calling everyone here smart asses...

Unless there's something I've missed, yes, most modern distros should support AGP gfx boards, provided you have the driver for the board itself.

What make and model of graphics card do you have?

Greetings Napalm,
I am using a xfx geforce6600 gt. So you know it is a nvidia. When I try to install the driver from the cd-rom it displays it in a box with several dependant ( I assume) or related files. So I guess my next question is how do I make them work?
