adding new hd in raid5 software


hi
i just removed a failed hardisk in my server "hdd1" then replaced it with a new one,then fdisk the drive:
fdisk /dev/hdd
p
n
t
fd
then:
mkriserfs /dev/hdd1
oh by the way iam using slackware 9 with 4 hardisk "hda,hdb,hdc,hdd" hdb1,hdc1 & hdd1 is on raid5 array.
now my question.... how do i tell raid to add my new
drive....pls help me step by step how to add my new drive.coz i dont want to mess my remaining date "hdb1 & hdc1"
