Acer 12x8x32 cdrw help
I have an old pentium box with Suse 8.2 on it and it has a cd rom drive which is recognized just fine and a cdrw that is not recognized. the cdrw is an Acer 12x8x32 model.
How do I go about getting this recognized? I was looking for drivers but the one site i came across only had drivers for windoze. I can't find it in supported hardware lists directly although I've seen references to people using it in mandrake linux and other distros too.
any help?
