You need to vissit the
linmodem project page and obtain a copy of the scanModem script. Run the script, and it will give your loads of information about your modem.
Note: the name of the modem is generally not helpful. The "lspci" result is better, but you really need to find the
chipset ... thus the scanModem reference. If, after running scanModem, you are still unsure what to do, there is a file output from the script which you copy and paste here.
