Which cheap (about 100€ or less) 3d graphic card do you recommend? It should have really good, preferably open source, drivers for Linux (the only OS i use) and at least 32 mb of RAM. I don't care if the chipet is a couple of year old as long as the 2D is perfect and the 3D is fairly acceptable and drivers are good.
I would use an Nvidia card - Linux drivers can be found on their website (www.nvidia.com).
You should be able to pick up a cheap one either at your local pc store (may need to go to a large store for lowest price), a computer fair or on eBay.
I got an nVidia GeForce FX 5200 (has 128 MB of RAM) for $87, which is well under your price range (if my rough conversions are correct ). It's a really nice card and it seems to handle anything I throw at it. Also nVidia is generally respectable as far as drivers and support are concerned. There's a lot of info on the forums about installing the drivers so I'm sure you won't have a problem ^_^.
