Youtube comments no longer showing

I'm using Debian with Iceweasel browser with the NoScript add-on.
I watch Youtube using html5 instead of Adobe Flash.
Fot the past few weeks, the comments on Youtube failed to load. I sorted this out by allowing 'google.com' with the Noscript add-on.

However, now none of the Youtube comments are loading at all.
I can watch the videos but it's not the same without reading comments and responding to people's comments.
I've tried changing the privacy settings on my Youtube account but this hasn't worked.
I've deleted cookies and browsing history on Iceweasel and it has had no effect.
I've looked up Youtube Help forum and it says that add-ons may be a problem and they may need updating.
But I've used Iceweasel without the Noscript add-on (Iceweasel-Help tab-Restart with add-ons disabled) and this has had no effect either.

Has anyone had the same problem?
I'd really appreciate it if anyone knows the solution because I can't find any answers from google.

did you check "no-script" ?
i am betting that "ytimg" and "gstatic" are both being blocked

also it "youtu.be" might also be blocked

if you use "no-script" you REALLY!!!!!! have to keep on TOP of configuring it

Why would you ever want this "problem" fixed?

I see youtube comments, and additionally to the already mentioned hosts, I have whitelisted:

googleapis.com
googleusercontent.com
googlevideos.com

I think it is googleusercontent.com. Comments are user content.

Yes, I have to allow 'ytimg' and this enables videos to run.
I haven't come across 'gstatic'.
I also allow 'google.com' and this usually loads the comments. But now this has stopped working.

NoScript doesn't seem to show that 'youtu.be' is blocked.
To sort out the problem I've even enabled 'Temporarily allow all this page' so nothing is blocked and this hasn't worked.

I'm running Iceweasel 31.3.0.
I'm wondering if the browser somehow needs an update or something.

Good point. However, I've been a Youtube subscriber for years and some of the video makers always reply to my comments. It's not bad, I suppose

I think it is googleusercontent.com. Comments are user content.
I've allowed all these hosts but comments are still not loading.
I can send comments but I just can't see any of them.
I'm wondering if the problem isn't with NoScript but possibly Iceweasel browser.

Is there anything I need to enable on the related gmail account?
Like most Youtube people, I never use gmail and it looks really complicated. I don't think it's a problem though because I was able to read comments a few days ago and suddenly they all disappeared.

I surfed the net and found that maybe I should enable Javascript on my browser.
So I input 'about:config' on the Iceweasel address line and pressed 'I'll be careful..'. Then scrolled down to 'JavaScript enabled' right clicked and pressed 'toggle'.
But Javascript was already enabled. So I disabled it and logged into YT. But the comments still didn't load.
So I went back to 'about:config' and re-enabled Javascript.
The next time I logged into YT people's comments suddenly loaded! I don't know why.
I did go to 'Youtube Help' after logging into gmail (which I never use but need in order to have a YT account) and created a thread about my problem. I don't know if this had an affect.

Anyways, the comments are now loading. Although Javascript is enabled on 'about:config', it is still disabled somehow with some websites which use it. So my problem may be a Javascript issue. Hope this helps anyone else out there, but I'm able to see YT comments again!
