Angry win98 captured the mbr... help me recapture it with grub

reinstalltion of 98 killed my grub booting. though i have a linux boot disk, i couldn't replug the grub and make 98 second os. when i tried 'find' in grub prompt(find /boot/grub/stage1) it gave back Error 15 file not found. so i am not confident to give 'root' or 'setup'. please guide me with what all thing to do in detail.

Thanks
Sudheer
