Why upgrade to KDE 3.0.1?

Although I have already done it, I am noticing a few glitches and problems. They are minor, no big deal. But I was curious why KDE 3.0.1 is better than 2.2.2. Isn't 2.2.2 very very stable. Very few issue. To go to a 3.x.x relase must mean some major improvements and I would like to know what those improvements are.

right now there haven't been too many new features because KDE3 is basically a port from KDE2 (and QT2) to QT3. KDE3 is more configurable though, not to mention faster than KDE2. Konqueror has really improved a lot as a browser.

If u really want to wait till more new features are added, wait for 3.1
