Which distros use BSD-style layout for initialization files, and which System V's?

So far I know Slackware uses BSD-style.
And I think Ubuntu and Debian use System V's.
Can you tell me about other distros?
Thanks.

Most of them are sysV.
Slackware and it's derivatives are BSD like.

I think when building LFS you have a choice between both types of boot scripts.

As someone said before "My distribution is in all ways superior to yours...", so in this case - I'd vote for ArchLinux. It also has BSD style init (as does Gentoo and Slackware), but it also has cool source/binary package management and it is easy to build Arch packages by yourself. Arch also uses the same philosophy as Slackware - KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid).
