Where to download *full* Adwaita gtk.css 3.14 - No longer in gnome-themes-standard.

As of GTK 3.14, Adwaita no longer requires a theme engine and has become the default theme of GTK. My initial reaction to this was "Yay, GTK won't be so ugly on other platforms!" However, this means that the complete theme package is no longer available on Github in gnome-themes-standard. The Mutter, GNOME Shell, and GTK2 themes are still in the repository, but now the gtk.css in the repository, like the included theme in most distros, merely includes a call to fetch the default theme of the GTK toolkit. This is a problem for theme developers; if you can't find the css you can't edit it.

So my question is: where can the GTK3 theme package (with original css) of the default Adwaita be found? You know, the folder that has gtk.css, gtk-dark.css, and makefile.am. I thought it would be in the source of gtk itself, downloaded from gtk.org, but if it is, for the life of me I can't find it.

Note: I am looking for the GTK 3.14 versions, not the recently released GTK 3.16. I'm using an Ubuntu GNOME 15.04 VM, and that always lags one release behind GNOME Master.

Solved!

After spending several hours with DuckDuckGo, I found someone who had already answered this question at:

http://osquestions.com/unix-linux/17...-3-14s-theming

I thought I'd leave a summary, so LQ people can find it easily. The source files are in fact in the gtk source, in the form of .scss files, and two .css files with different names. That's why I couldn't find them before. Adwaita is maintained in SASS so it's less of a headache. "index.theme" is still missing, but it's such a simple file, I think I can just figure it out from Numix or Greybird.
